The Horse and Cart Inn is an early 19th-century public house located on School Lane in Peasmarsh. It is a two-storey building with three windows. The ground floor is painted brick, while the upper floor is covered in painted tile hanging. The roof is slate, and the original glazing bars remain intact in the windows. The doorway has a flat hood supported by brackets, and a gabled porch.
