Description

Cheyney's Almshouses were founded in 1611 and built in 1842 in the Tudor style. The building is two storeys high and features two windows. It is constructed of red brick, with the front covered in stucco, and has a tiled roof. The first-floor windows are gabled dormers with kneelers, and there are casement windows throughout. A gabled porch, also with kneelers, leads to a four-centred doorway. Tall chimneys rise above the gable ends.
