Description

Knellstone is a late 15th-century, L-shaped house constructed with a timber frame and close-studded panels. The first floor of the house overhangs at the projecting ends, supported by brackets. It has a tiled roof and casement windows, with two original windows featuring wooden mullions. A red brick chimney breast is located on the east wall. The south front of the house is faced with red brick tiles and incorporates two modern projections. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has six windows.
