Description
Robertsbridge House is a late 17th-century building with a front that was constructed in the late 17th century, though it incorporates parts of an earlier structure. Originally known as the White Horse Inn, it is situated on the west side of High Street in Robertsbridge. The building is two storeys high and has six windows. It is constructed of painted brick, with a brick string course and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof is tiled. The windows are casement windows, each divided into four sections with wooden mullions and transoms. There are iron brackets indicating the former presence of inn signs. A 17th-century staircase is located within the building.
