Description

Downash House is a circa 1900 house, now converted to flats, built in the Tudor style. The house has two storeys and ten windows. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The windows are casement windows with brick mullions, transoms and round-headed upper lights. A projecting gable is positioned at the west end, featuring a curved bay window on both floors. A flush gable is present at the east end. A two-storey projecting porch, featuring a castellated parapet designed to look like a small tower, is located to the west of the west gable. A recessed window bay is situated at the east end.
