Description

The Royal Oak Inn is likely the former manor house of Newick Manor, dating from the 17th century or earlier, and was refaced in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and features five windows. It is faced with weatherboarding on a painted brick base and has a tiled roof, with the north end being a later addition covered in slates. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and there are two doorways that have flat hoods above them.
