Description

The statue of Lord Kitchener is an equestrian statue located approximately 50 meters west of the entrance to Kitchener Barracks in Chatham. It was erected in 1916 and is made of bronze mounted on a rock-faced ashlar base. The statue stands on a battered rectangular plinth that features a moulded top, depicting Kitchener in his dress uniform.
