Description

Chelsfield House is an asymmetrical early 19th century house, originally the Rectory. It is three stories high and has eleven windows. The house is constructed of red brick, with a dentilled cornice above the first floor and a cornice and parapet above the second floor. A prominent bay of three windows extends across the ground and first floors, though it is not centrally located. The windows retain their original jalousies and glazing bars. The eastern half of the house is on a higher elevation than the western half.
