Description

The Denbigh Arms Public House is a mid-19th century public house of stucco construction, situated in Denbigh Place, Westminster. It is three windows wide and four storeys tall. The building has bold, vermiculated rusticated quoins. The ground floor features arched windows separated by pilaster strips, with entrances in the outer bays, and later plate glass windows. A balustraded balcony runs along the first floor. The windows above the ground floor have architraves, and the first-floor windows are topped with segmental pediments. The windows are square-headed, except those on the third floor which are segmental. A cornice runs along the top, followed by a parapet. The interior has been remodelled. The building is notable for its vigorous public house design.
