Description

This listing covers the dwelling houses at numbers 37 to 53 Brompton Square. They were built between 1824 and 1839 as part of the planned layout of Brompton Square. The houses are constructed of brick with stuccoed ground floors, and are generally four-storey, mirroring the houses on the opposite side of the Square. Number 50 is an exception, being five-storeys high. Some of the ground floor windows have been altered since the original construction.
