Description
The Hollywood Arms Public House is a building from 1865, constructed of yellow brick with some red brick and stucco. It stands three storeys tall and is four windows wide, showcasing an eclectic Gothic style. The ground floor features three rusticated arches and includes two entrances along with a carriageway to the right. The first and second floors have windows with segmental heads, each topped with pointed relieving arches. A continuous cast iron balcony, notable for its unusual design, spans the first floor. The top floor displays rope mouldings above the windows, with splayed rope ends at the imposts. A stucco cornice with elongated brackets is present, along with a blocking course that rises to a pediment featuring an arch and the inscription "Hollywood Arms." The glass is acid etched with a holly theme. Inside, there are some original fittings, although the layout may have been reorganised.
