Description

The Markham Arms Public House is an early Victorian building constructed from brick. It features three main bays with one-bay wings on either side. The central portion is made of painted brick, while the wings are finished in stucco. Notable architectural details include stucco architraves and a cornice, as well as a bow bar window in the center supported by Corinthian columns and an iron balcony. The building stands three storeys tall, with the first-floor windows having round heads adorned with shell motifs, while the upper windows are segmental.
