Description
This is a cabmen's shelter built in 1909, created by the Cabmen's Shelter Fund under the supervision of architect M. Starmer Hack. The structure features a timber frame with timber cladding and overlapping timber boards on a low pitched roof with overhanging eaves. It is a single storey building measuring seven main bays by three bays, with entrances at both ends. The frame's horizontal and vertical members are visible, and there are panels of vertical boarding in between. The sides have three square-headed sashed windows, each with six panes and timber glazing bars, along with pivoting lights above.
