Description

This is a lamp post located outside the east entrance of St John's Church, dating from around 1889. It is made of cast iron and features a column standard that is divided into two fluted stages, tapering towards the scroll-enriched ladder bars which have arrow-head ends. The lamp post has a 20th-century reproduction Windsor lantern. The base is inscribed with "St. J.H. 1889".
