Description

Cowlinge Hall is a moated farmhouse dating from the 16th to 17th century, constructed with timber framing and plastered. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring casement windows with leaded lights and a six-panel door. The roof is tiled and includes one gabled dormer and a cruciform red brick chimney stack. Inside, there are areas of exposed timber framing and original window openings, which are visible from the interior, showcasing moulded and diamond mullions. The house underwent renovation and restoration in the 20th century.
