Description
Seckford Lodge, located at No. 7 Seckford Street, was built in 1852 and is an early 18th-century, two-storey building with an attic. It has a timber frame that is plastered, with a brick plinth and rusticated quoins. The roof features tiles and slate eaves courses. The windows are sash style, equipped with glazing bars and flush frames. The entrance includes a six-panel wooden door set within a case that has fluted pilasters, a frieze with a sunk panel, and a cornice. Inside, there is an Adam type mantel. The building has a two-storey red brick front, with a casement window in the stuccoed front gable of an attached outbuilding on the left, which is currently used as a garage.
