Description

This is an early 18th century timber-framed building, originally comprising Nos. 28 to 32 on the north side of Seckford Street. The building is two storeys with an attic, and features two gabled dormers and a gable end window. The front is plastered with a brick end to the left. A decorative oval plaster garland is located centrally. The building has a modillion cornice and is roofed with tiles. There are three windows, fitted with mullion and transom casements. Number 32 has a canted ground floor bay. The front doors include a two-panel fielded door with architrave at No. 28, a six-panel fielded door at No. 30, and a four-panel door at No. 32. Photographs are recorded in the National Monuments Record. Nos. 16 to 36 (even) and 44 to 50 (even) form a group.
