Description

The Lilacs is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building is one storey with an attic, which includes two dormers: one gabled with the date "1716" and the other flat-roofed. The house has two and three-light casements and two panelled doors from the 18th and 19th centuries. At the time of the survey, a modern gabled wing was being constructed at the rear.
