Description

Nos 23 and 24 Denmark Street are 17th century buildings that stand two stories high with an attic. They feature timber framing and plastering, topped with thatched roofs. The first floor has three windows and one painted dummy window, all of which are flush frame sashes with glazing bars. At the ground floor, there is a central splayed sash bay window with glazing bars. The buildings face north and have an end that projects towards the road, with a chimney on No 24. The entrance to No 24 includes a four-panel door with consoles and a cornice above, while No 23 has a small closed porch with a doorcase. Nos 23 to 25 Denmark Street form a group.
