Description

The buildings at 49 and 50 Mount Street date to the early 17th century and are timber-frame structures with a pantile roof. They have two storeys and four windows, with casement windows. Number 50 has a door with six fielded panels, an architrave featuring roundels, and a cornice. Number 49 has a four-panel door with sunk upper panels and a simpler wooden frame. Inside, the first floor reveals exposed timber framing, alongside 11-inch oak flooring and wide, chamfered beams. The properties contribute to a group value when considered alongside numbers 48 and 50.
