Description
Bunwell Manor Hotel is a late 16th-century house, originally known as The Rectory, which was altered in the late 19th century. The building features a combination of timber-frame and brick construction with a roughcast finish. It has steep pantile roofs with gabled ends and stands two storeys high with an attic. The front (south) side includes a two-storey plus attic porch and a projecting two-storey plus attic gabled bay to the right, while the left side displays the gable end of a cross wing. The windows are a mix of 19th-century and modern casements. At the rear (north-east), there is a long plastered timber-frame wing that contains a moulded arch fireplace on the first floor. Additionally, there is another wing at the back (north-west) that features late 19th-century additions.
