Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory dating from 1835, with later additions in 1883. It is constructed of gault brick with a roof that is not visible. The main rectangular block is accompanied by lower service wings extending to the sides and front. The building has two storeys and three bays facing each of its three facades. It features sash windows with glazing bars and jalousie shutters, each set within a skewback arch. A central porch faces west, supported by two square, stuccoed piers with a batter. The Doric entablature above the piers is likely a modern replacement. The front door features raised and fielded panels, complemented by a semi-circular fanlight. A former moulded cornice runs along the base of the parapet.
