9A Middle Row is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof. It has two storeys, featuring a canted bay window on the ground floor and sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor facing Middle Row. On the Baker Street side, there is a lattice casement window on the first floor and another canted bay window with glazing bars on the ground floor. This building is included for its group value, as it forms part of a collection with Nos 1 to 17 (odd), Nos 9A, 2, and 4, alongside Nos 2 to 6 (even) and No 7 Baker Street.
