Description
Nos 24 to 28 Churchyard is an 18th-century terrace of five small houses, which have been converted into shops on the ground floors. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a steeply pitched half-hipped tiled roof with five dormers, which are either hipped or gabled. There are five sash windows set in broad, neatly flush frames, positioned under slightly cambered arches with projecting key blocks made of cement-rendered brick. The original doorcases, which have been removed, included architraves beneath hoods and enclosed doors with four fielded panels. The terrace is two storeys high with attics. All the listed buildings in Churchyard are part of a group.
