Description

29 Bucklersbury is a 16th-century building that retains much of its original timber framework, with plaster infilling and a steeply pitched tiled roof. The structure has two storeys and features three lattice casement windows. The upper floor oversails on exposed corbels, and there are boxed eaves. A wide central carriageway, located beneath a cross gable, leads to a yard that is flanked by long ranges of timber-framed buildings, also two storeys high, with upper floors that oversail on exposed cantels. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 20 to 34 Bucklersbury.
