Description

No. 37 Bucklersbury is a building from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The timber frame is exposed on the first floor, which features colour washed rough plaster infilling. The building has a steeply pitched Welsh slated roof that sits behind a parapet. It stands two storeys tall, with the first floor oversailing. There are two canted bay shop windows located beneath a frieze and cornice. The back elevation is gabled. Nos. 37, 39, and 40 form a group.
