Description
Great Becketts is a timber-framed and plastered house built around 1580. The timber framing is visible on the south-east gable, featuring brick nogging, while the north-west end includes a small gabled cross-wing. A single-storey addition from the 18th or 19th century extends from the south-east end and has one gabled dormer. The house has casement windows and tiled roofs, with an original central chimney stack that has four octagonal stacks with moulded caps and bases on a square base. There is also one gabled dormer at the rear. Inside, the house features carved panelling and moulded brick fireplaces.
