Description

The Cricketers Public House is an inn that dates from the 18th century or early 19th century, with a later 19th-century wing added to the west. The older block was given a new front when the wing was constructed. It is built of red brick, featuring yellow brick quoins and dressings, and stands two storeys high. The older block has a parapet and two windows, which are horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. The 19th-century wing has double-hung sashes, mostly with glazing bars. Both sections have tiled roofs, and the older block includes a central chimney stack.
