Description

The George is a public house that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It has a two-storey L-shaped layout, featuring a red plain tile roof and red hanging tiles on the front gable. The building is timber framed and plastered, with a 20th-century brick addition on the right side. It has various small-paned casement and sash windows. The entrance is highlighted by an 18th-century door surround with a flat canopy above it. Additionally, there are three red brick chimney stacks, with some Tudor brickwork at the base of the central stack.
