Description

Overend Green House is mainly a 19th-century building with origins dating back to the 13th century. The front facade is of incised stucco, a type of decorative plaster. It is two storeys high and has a Welsh slate roof. Four sash windows with glazing bars are visible, along with a canted bay window to the left of the ground floor. A Doric portico provides a formal entrance, leading to a door within an architrave surround, featuring Doric pilasters. Above the door is a rectangular fanlight with geometric glazing bars. The rear of the house incorporates 18th-century sections built of red brick, with a clay tile roof and Yorkshire casement windows.
