Description

Lower End Cottage and Batemans Cottage are a pair of 17th-century timber-frame cottages situated on Lower End in Birlingham. They were originally listed as Lower End Cottages, occupied by Mrs. Freeman and Mrs. Bateman. The cottages have a thatched roof and two storeys. They feature small casement windows and two plain doors. The timber frame is set within whitened brick nogging, and the cottages have gable ends.
