Description

The Ruined Chapel at Chapel Farm is a significant historical structure dating back to the 12th century. It consists of the remains of a chapel that includes a chancel and nave. The gabled end walls are still standing at full height, with the east end featuring a 13th-century window. On the south side, there is an original doorway that has been damaged, showcasing a chevroned tympanum with a carved winged dragon. Additionally, there are two blocked windows from the 17th century. The chapel was noted as disused as early as the 14th century and was converted into a barn in 1738.
