Description

The Old Rectory is an early 17th-century building constructed with a timber frame and plaster, although it has been significantly modernized. It stands two stories tall, with the lower part covered in stucco. The building features projecting gabled wings on either side. There are three windows at the center and one window in each wing, all dating from the 18th century. The roof is tiled. Notably, Doctor Treadway Nash, the county historian, served as the rector here from 1797.
