Description
The Church of St James is a church located in Bishampton, originally dating from the 12th to the 15th century. Most of the structure, except for the tower, was rebuilt by F. Preedy between 1870 and 1871. The church features a chancel, nave, south porch, and a west embattled tower. The tower is in the Perpendicular style, while the rest of the building incorporates fabric from the 12th century. Notable features include two 12th-century doorways, a 12th-century window, and a late 12th-century font.
