Description

The city wall in Worcester dates back to the 14th century and is constructed of dressed red sandstone. It stretches for approximately 95 meters from the eastern end of Windsor Row to the eastern side of Nos. 6-9 Cornmarket. The wall features a chamfered plinth that is partially exposed, and there is a semi-circular bastion at the northern end. This structure is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
