Description

Rosemary is a late 17th or early 18th century red brick house with stone dressings and a hipped tiled roof. It is two storeys high with a first-floor band and a cyma recta cornice. Chamfered in-and-out quoins and an ashlar plinth are also present. The front elevation features four flush casement windows with glazing bars. Ground-floor windows have lintels with keystones. A wooden canted bay is situated on the right-hand side, featuring slim panelled pilasters and an entablature. A half-glazed door is set within a surround, topped with a cornice hood supported by cut brackets. The interior is said to contain fine panelling. Group value is present due to its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
