Description

The Former Bass Museum of Brewing, dated 1866, was originally a joiner's shop for Bass's Middle Brewery. This three-storey building is constructed of red brick and features a typical brewery design with twelve bays, each containing an arched recess and a segmental-headed window. The fourth bay from each end includes a loading door. The building has recessed, arched gabled ends, corbelled eaves, and is topped with tiles.
