Description
No. 225 Prince's Road is a house that dates from around 1810 and was originally one of a pair of lodges for The Mount in Hartshill, Stoke on Trent. The building is constructed of yellow brick and features an ashlar portico with a plain tiled roof. It is a low two-storey structure, with a full-height portico at the east end supported by Doric columns, which holds a pediment above the doorway. The windows on the north elevation have been renewed, and there is a later extension to the west.
