BISHOPS FROME Paunton Court 1. 1962 SO 64 NE 18/66 9.4.52. II GV 2. C16/17. Timber frame faced in roughcast. 2 storeys. 3 windows. Large C19 windows. Slate roof with gable ends. Central chimney. Interior+ simple staircase of circa 1700 with turned balusters, square newels. RCHM, Volume II, page 12. Paunton Court and its farm buildings with Paunton Cottage and the Mill and Mill House with their outbuildings form a good group.
