Description
Lower Elmores End is a 16th-century house that was rebuilt in rough ashlar during the mid-17th century. A timber-framed cross-wing was added to the southeast in the mid-17th century but has since been demolished. Another mid-17th century cross-wing at the opposite end features timber framing with square panels of red brick. The roof of the 16th-century section was rebuilt in the 17th century, and the building has tiled roofs with gabled ends. It is two storeys high.
Inside, the rooms have stop-chamfered ceiling beams and exposed timber framing. The house is said to contain 17th-century doors with large strap-hinges. The property is now derelict.
