Description

The Church of St Anne is a Grade II* listed building located in Thornbury, dating from the early 12th century. It features an early 12th-century nave and a 13th-century west tower topped with a 19th-century pyramid tile roof. The chancel was added in 1865 by Kempson, who also restored the church and included a north vestry and a south porch. There is a blocked north doorway from the 12th century and a Norman font inside. The church, along with Church House, the garden wall, and the farm buildings to the north, forms a cohesive group.
