Gate House is an 18th century stone rubble cottage, likely originating from the 17th century, featuring an exposed timber frame in the upper part of the gable end. The building has one storey and an attic, with three casement windows overall. There is a stone stack at the front and brick dentil eaves. The roof is tiled with gable ends.
