Description

The White Horse Inn is a public house dating to the mid-18th century and with later alterations. It is built of rendered material and has a pantile roof punctuated by a single red brick stack to the rear, with dog tooth eaves. The building is arranged over three storeys and consists of six bays, with the left three bays slightly set back, marked by a first-floor band. The front entrance has a part-glazed door and a flat canopy supported by brackets. To the left of the entrance are two glazing bar sash windows, followed by three larger glazing bar sash windows. Above these are four glazing bar sash windows; the two on the right are smaller, with a central glazing bar Yorkshire sash window. All windows are set within moulded wooden architrave frames. Below the two right-hand windows are single recessed panels with the pub's name inscribed in relief, repeated on the first-floor band. Rear extensions are two and single storey in height.
