Description

No. 20 Bridge Street is an 18th-century building. The left-hand side features a rebuilt section with a stone tablet inscribed "I & W. Hornby, 1762." This part of the building is two storeys high. The main section is three storeys tall, constructed of red brick, and includes a stone cornice, quoins, and a cill band at the first floor. The façade has five windows with flush sashes, keystones, brick flat arches with voussoirs, and bracketed cills. The top floor has hung sashes with glazing bars. The building also has a modern shop front.
