Description
The coach house and stables to Oxley Hall were built around 1865 by J Simpson for Henry Oxley. The structure is made of coursed rock-faced gritstone and features a slate hipped roof. It consists of single-storey bays on either side of a taller central bay, which has a truncated pyramid roof with missing cresting. The building has quoins, with the outer bays featuring carriage arches. The central bay includes a chamfered doorway with an overlight, tall windows, a round-arched loading door, and a shaped gable above, which has two small round windows. The eaves cornice is chamfered. The interior was not inspected, and the openings were boarded up at the time of the survey.
