Description

30 and 32 Sharp Lane are 18th century buildings located in Almondbury, which include the rear part of Northfield House and were formerly known as John Taylor's Mill. The buildings are constructed from hammer dressed stone and feature a pitched stone slate roof. They are two storeys high. Number 30 was a former weaving shed and appears to be the older of the two. It has three 2-light stone mullioned casements on the first floor, although the intervening lights have been blocked. On the ground floor, there is one 3-light stone mullioned casement and one 2-light stone mullioned casement. Number 32 has four sash windows on the first floor, three of which have glazing bars, and one sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor. There are also other blocked windows present.
