Description
A column-base, approximately 2 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Germain, is a Grade II listed structure. This column-base dates from the 14th century and is made of ashlar. It features the bottom section of an octagonal column set on a square base, with a hollowed top that suggests it was repurposed as a font or stoup. The overall height of the column-base is approximately 30 centimetres.
