Description
The Church of Holy Trinity is a building of exceptional interest due to its rare date of construction, which took place from 1648 to 1652 by a London mason. Its architectural details are comparable to those of St Katherine Cree. The church does not have a tower. In 1855, a chancel was added along with clerestory windows. The interior features an arcade of five bays with round arches supported by round Tuscan columns, a Jacobean west gallery, and a pulpit. The reredos is an early work by the renowned architect Edwin Lutyens.
